Posted on Aug 21, From what I gathered googling around it seems like DXtory comes with DirectShow Decoder filters, so playback with DirectShow based decoders should be possible. Seems like 'xtor' video codec is not supported by libavwhich is the reason why VLC can't handle the file. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question. I've tried looking for the codec but I'm coming up with ocdec.
